Care Instructions

 

• Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe. Not microwave safe.

 

• It is sufficient to rinse under running water, without any detergent. If you are concerned about tea stains, pour boiling water into the teapot, add 1-2 spoons of baking soda, and scrub with a non-abrasive sponge after the water has cooled.

 

• Pour water through the spout to clear any tea leaves trapped in the strainer.

 

• Both stainless steel and ceramic tea strainers feature very fine holes to prevent tea leaves from escaping. Use a brush with fine bristles to dislodge any trapped leaves within the strainer.

 

• When washing, hold the teapot securely with the spout facing towards you to safeguard the handle and prevent it from hitting nearby surfaces.

 

Storage:

• Store the teapot with the plastic cap to prevent the spout from chipping, breaking or hitting other objects.
